The Finale of the GenerationS corporate accelerator for technological startups annually held by RVC took place in the multimedia space Tesla Place in Moscow on April 27. Three winners shared the Grand Prix of RUB 16M (~USD 260K), and 20 finalists received in-kind prizes from the Partners of the accelerator.
The first place and RUB 8M prize (~USD 130K) was given to the night vision system IR WAY. The system provides the driver with a high-resolution picture of the road in darkness or poor weather conditions at a distance up to 1.5 km. The core smart component of the project is an algorithm to process and create real time images. The technology shows outstanding performance in compare with similar solutions already available on market.
The second place and the prize of RUB 5M (~USD 80K) awarded to the Hydraulic packer for oil production. A simple, modular, maintainable and operationally adjustable hydraulic packer enables to reduce duration of works in oil wells with casing strings of a small diameter (51-108 mm) up to 2-4 times and to reduce its cost by 3-5 times by changing set-up method, which is carried out under the pressure. The packer can be applied both in the oil and gas and construction industries.
The top three includes the VR Concept, the project presented software for 3D modelling and teamwork with digital twins in VR. The team received RUB 3M (~USD 50K).

Gore Nahapetyan graduated in 1991 with honors from the Yerevan State University with a degree in applied mathematics. In 1991-1992, he completed the one-and-a-half year courses of business management at the American University of Armenia. In 2008, he completed a course at INSEAD Business School.
Gore began his professional career in 1992 in Dialogue Bank. He participated in the first trading sessions at the newly opened MICEX stock exchange. He changed to Troika Dialog in 1993 and was one of its founding members. Later he headed the team for the development of special projects, which resulted in the establishment of Troika Dialog Management Company (since November 2012 known as Sberbank Asset Management), which he headed in 1996. From 2001 to 2003 he was involved in the project to acquire and restructure Rosgosstrakh OJSC. He served as the vice-president of Rosgosstrakh OJSC, supervising the activities of the president's staff and a number of holding subdivisions. He also headed the rebranding project.
Until February 2013, Mr. Nakhapetyan has been the head of the president's staff, served as the Managing Director of Troika Dialog (since October 2012 known as Sberbank CIB). As a Managing Director, Mr. Nakhapetyan oversaw strategic development issues, and headed several departments of the company: public relations, marketing, HR, security, contact center and internal communications.
From February to September 2013, Gore Nakhapetian held the post of vice-president at Sberbank. He supervised the HR unit whose key tasks were to form and develop corporate culture, improve and develop employee motivation system, create corporate university and build an effective communication system within the company.
From 2006 to 2013 he has been a member of the Coordinating Council at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO and Chairman of the Committee for Personnel and Ethics. From 2013 to 2016, he has been elected and served as Chairman of the SKOLKOVO Alumni Board.
